Pine Forest repaired my leaky shower floor. I myself had torn out the previous acrylic shower pan and had removed one row of shower wall tiles bordering the shower floor. So in a sense, a lot of the “prep work” was done. I hired Pine Forest to install a new tiled shower floor, replace tiles along the bottom wall, to install a drain, and to rebuild a 5” step entrance. I supplied the tiles and grout. Pine Forest supplied the concrete, liner (water proof) papers, drain cover, various other supplies, and the labor. I dealt directly with Dany (who owns the company over the phone and never met him in person). He quoted the price after I sent him numerous photos and told him what I wanted. After we agreed to the price over the phone, he sent his worker/tech, Omar, to start working on the project within two-three days. It was a one-person project. Dany had estimated that the job would take two days. Instead it took four days. The concrete took longer to dry and Omar was diverted to another project which was “urgent.” Overall, I am very satisfied with the workmanship of Omar and the level of communication from Dany. I got four quotes for my bath/shower replacement and sheet rock repair, and I'm glad I chose Pine Forest. Dany was transparent about pricing from the start, walked me through exactly what they'd do, and communicated often throughout the project. The job involved replacing the tub, tile, and plumbing, and along the way we decided to remove a furdown and reroute the water and vent pipes—everything worked out beautifully, and it made the space feel much larger. I have an older house that called for a few extra accommodations, and they provided reasonable solutions each time. Cleanup was great.
